Come Ride With Us!!!
|
Are you ready for the snow? Cause we sure are. |
The Viking Sno Riders club has over 30 miles of groomed trails that you can count on to be groomed once that white stuff hits the ground. The trails are groomed by our dedicated members on a 1994 Tucker Sno-Cat, model 2000 |
| |
BUT WAIT! Are you legally old enough to drive a snowmobile on the Wisconsin trails? Or, do you feel you do not have enough experience driving a snowmobile? if this is you , Join us for a snowmobile safety course offered by the Viking Sno Riders! |
The course dates are: |
Please be available to attend all three dates, as this is one course , only offered once a year. Classes are held at the St. Nazianz Fire House. For questions, call Rick and Peggy Halversen 758-2567. |

Once you have completed the safety course, it would only be fitting for you to join a snowmobile club! The Viking Sno-Riders have about 160 members and are always looking for more! Please support the snowmobilers!! Yearly club dues are $15.00 for a single and $25.00 for family. Club meeting are held on the Sunday after the Maintowoc County Alliance meeting, at Butch,s Opera Haus in St. Nazianz at 7pm. Also, mark your calendars for the club ride which is going to be the weekend of January 12-14 in Iron Mountain. The Manitowoc County Alliance ride is going to be the weekend of February 9-11 in Carter. Hope to see you there! |
| In respect to the landowners, the Viking Sno Riders holds an annual landowner's banquet which will be held this year on April 15, 2007 at the Edgewood Pub and Grill. Without their cooperation, our trail system would be broken. |
| For a fundraiser, the club puts on a brat fry usually held in April or May. We appreciate all the support from those who stop in and buy a brat or two! |
| The Manitowoc County Alliance is offering a one time opportunity to any single young women interested in becoming the Manitowoc County Snow Queen! You must be between the ages of 16-21, a resident of Manitowoc County and a member of a snowmobile club and the AWSC. To obtain an application, please contact Tamma Hackmann, Snow Queen Chair. | We hope you make a good choice and join our snowmobile club. If Valders is not in your area, there are many other clubs in Manitowoc County who would be happy to have you join. Come support the sport of snowmobiling! |
